A Town Called Panic: Christmas Panic!

Brothers Danny and Zak, ages 15 and 13 ¾, are spending the summer in their deceased grandfather's house, waiting in vain for their mother, who is otherwise busy, and running low on cash. To make some money, they decide to rent out the house to a local drug dealer, but things don't go exactly as planned...

After losing their academic posts at a prestigious university, a team of parapsychologists goes into business as proton-pack-toting "ghostbusters" who exterminate ghouls, hobgoblins and supernatural pests of all stripes. An ad campaign pays off when a knockout cellist hires the squad to purge her swanky digs of demons that appear to be living in her refrigerator.

During its return to the earth, commercial spaceship Nostromo intercepts a distress signal from a distant planet. Hilarious but harrowing, the film charts the disintegration of the friendship between Renton, Spud, Sick Boy, Tommy and Begbie as they proceed seemingly towards a psychotic, drug-fuelled self-destruction.
