The Plot to Assassinate Hitler

On April 30, 1945, while the Russian Army surrounded Berlin, Hitler committed suicide in his bunker. His body was discovered a few days later by the Soviets. He would be positively identified after a top secret inquest in which Hitler's personal dentist would play a central role. And yet, at the same time, Stalin publicly declared that his army was unable to find the Führer's body, choosing to let the wildest rumors develop and going so far as to accuse some of his Allies of having aided the monster's probable escape. What secrets were hidden behind this dissimulation? What happened then to the two ladies involved in the identification of Hitler’s body?

While the commander of the British Army in Arabia, Major J. W. Courtney, is out in the desert chasing marauding tribesmen, his wife carries on an affair with Captain Randall. Courtney returns to the outpost ahead of time and the wife takes refuge in the quarters of Lieutenant W.B. Lawrence. Warfare, instigated by Randall, breaks out between the troops and the tribesmen and ends when the mortally wounded Randall confesses to his dastardly deeds, the least of which included making love to his commander's wife.

Back in Butte, Gregory has hit a gold strike and telegraphs Ida of his luck. Ora however, with a secret love for Gregory, sabotages Ida's response by rewriting the return cable to indicate Ida will return, but only for a share in the gold. When the travelers return to Montana, Ida has found out about what backstabbing Ora has done, and fight it out at the mine, but unaware of their presence, the now-disillusioned Gregory intends on blowing up the mine at the same time.
