A thrilling weekend in the countryside. The wife is going to her mother's, and it's her lover's birthday. What could be better for a man in the midst of a midlife crisis? A catering service has been booked to give his lover a wonderful evening. His long-time friend has been invited as an alibi, in case anything goes wrong... Admittedly, the fact that this adultery is taking place in their shared weekend home is pretty nasty, but what's even nastier is that the long-time friend of the family is the wife's secret lover. Two hours of explanations for everyone involved. A cook who has to pose as a model, a model who can't tell soup from Sachertorte, a fictitious niece, a sick mother, and a midlife-crisis Casanova who would rather have bought a Porsche.
