Jonah's search for answers about his brother's death leads to the shadowy underworld of a hyper-reality show with "eyecasting." Users place contact lenses with a camera on their eyes and broadcast everything they do. The more "followers" these reality stars can draw, the more sponsors and money they can acquire. This race for ratings spawns casinos where gamblers bet on people's life events and where unscrupulous "producers" spice up the action with contestants who cross the line from legal to lethal.
