Jadwiga the Witch

Investigator Pavel Martynek returns to the Beskydy Mountains to solve the twenty-year-old case of Witches from that region. Can a man with his logic penetrate the mysterious world of local women? The story is loosely inspired by real cases of magic that took place on the border of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Retold by people who grew up there, it sensitively depicts the local landscape and language.
