In the wake of the events of 9/11, nearly 3000 families are slated to receive nearly 7 billion dollars in compensation from the Government and public donations. For many it has been anything but compensation. For many it has ruined their lives for a second time. The money raises profoundly difficult questions about what a life is worth, and how one gains closure after such profound losses.
