La Métamorphose

I've been living in France for 20 years and I'm Algerian. My residence permit expires in less than a year, but I don't want to just fill in a naturalization application form. I want to document my journey, my emotions, my hopes and my questions about my dual identity. I want to become French, out of love, desire and envy. But does this choice imply renunciation?
