Based on Karet's short story. Szymon, a thirty-year-old doctor with a girlfriend, a car and a mortgaged flat, feels a growing sense of impending disaster. After his birthday party he reviews the day’s regrets—especially the saga of Rysiek, his family’s unwilling tenant—and sees in his father’s weakness a warning of his own potential failure, blending humor with existential unease.

It's a story of a young woman from Warsaw - Iwona who has two children and works in a supermarket. He lives with his unemployed husband in a block of flats. They are always short of money - that causes many quarrels and destroys their relationship . One day Iwona receives a great offer from her old friend - Wojtek. He wants her to move to London and start a brand new life.
