Therapist Olga runs an exclusive therapeutic community for people deeply marked by trauma in a remote countryside farmhouse. By her side is her son Lorenzo, fragile and troubled, bound to her by a deeply complex and intimate relationship, The arrival of enigmatic Tommaso, who seems to know long-buried and unspeakable secrets, disrupts the group’s fragile balance and profoundly undermines the bond between mother and son. As manipulation and guilt intensify, the line between healing and madness becomes increasingly blurred, leading to an inevitable reckoning.

Filmed from 1995 to 1997 in Havana, New York, Los Angeles, Morelia and Mexico City, it tells the story of Yuliet, a Cuban teenager, and Fabiola Quiroz, a Mexican model, who, with humor and frankness, surrounded by quirky supporting characters, show us that the absence of their parents, deprivation and adversity made them stronger.
