While a mute and lonely mother lives a life that is far from easy, she nevertheless bares her lot with dignity and courage. Her 15-year-old son is trying to stand on his own two feet, but in so doing he only complicates the grim situation in the family.

In the world of only land and sky three Friends sing, roll and play together. Their happiness is brought to a halt by the appearance of a single white chair in the horizon. Two of the Friends slide happily on it but the third one wants it all for himself.
