Historians, biographers and personal friends of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Margaret Mitchell reveal a complex woman who experienced profound identity shifts during her life and struggled with the two great issues of her day: the changing role of women and the liberation of African Americans.

After 14 years in prison, the time has come for Gogita to return to his normal life. His wishes seem modest enough: a home of his own and then marriage to a nice woman. But who would be interested in a poor farmer and ex-con who still lives with his mother? Then he meets Maka on the internet. She's not that young anymore, and she's not the prettiest girl in the world, but she can bake delicious cakes. They're soon making grand plans without even having met.

The film consists entirely of documentary footage arranged in chronological order and shot by cameramen from both sides during the hostilities, starting with the column of internal troops of Georgia crossing the administrative border between Zugdidi and Gali on August 14, 1992, and ending with footage of the Abkhaz capture of Sukhumi in late September 1993. The film’s authors explain what led to the fall of Sukhumi in September 1993.

Georgia Public Broadcasting and the Atlanta History Center have partnered to produce the gripping new documentary recounting the Atlanta Campaign led by William Tecumseh Sherman which ravaged Georgia in the fight to defeat the Confederacy.
