Suffering through a mid-life crisis, Omer has to face the angry villagers in order to realize his estranged father's dying wish to be buried under the enshrined Noah Tree which his father claims to have planted half a century ago.

In the standstill of the pandemic summer, a young couple wants to start anew and move from Hanover to Berlin. To say goodbye, they are throwing a farewell dinner. But good friends cancel — and uninvited guests show up. Soon, secret longings, misunderstandings and human abysses of the privileged dinner guests are revealed. Here, everyone is fighting only for themselves: a “bubble” that seems to have everything and yet threatens to despair of itself.

After years abroad in Italy, Shadi returns to his native Nazareth. But this is no spectacular homecoming. He's back somewhat begrudgingly to honour his "wajib" (or duty) to hand out invitations to his sister's wedding with his father. The simmering tension between the two — who are often stuck in a car, more often than not in traffic — builds, exposing the sometimes-comic chasms that exist between men who live in different worlds but share an unshakable bond.

A couple consisting of two women, Levi and Minu, participate in a reality TV show called Hygge, inspired by the Swedish lifestyle concept of the same name. On an island, the new community they form part of takes advantage of their remoteness from society in order to experiment with its own values. Therefore, at a certain point, Levi tries to escape and to convince Minu to leave with her.

It seems to be quite a privilege for a kid like him, and he quickly becomes the favourite of the leader of the colony, Uncle Paul. Over time, Pablo witnesses some kind of strange things which happen there and make him act differently than the other students.

A young policewoman from Hamburg is torn between rigid adherence to her professional ideals and the testosterone-fueled power lust of her head of operations. After her training at the police academy, 24-year-old Laura begins her service in a task force of the Hamburg riot police. Sooner than expected, she realizes that the daily routine in the social hot spots of society is draining. When she makes a serious mistake during an operation, she has to decide what kind of policewoman she really wants to be.

Thirteen-year-old Bobi lives in a small town in southern Chile. He was born with a strange condition: from the waist down, he has dog legs. His life is turned upside down when he meets Carlos, a man in his fifties who has recently lost his son and suffers from mental health issues.
