A streetwise investment broker, who has been tricked into accepting a counterfeit $100 bill by a statuesque con woman, falls in love with her. Against all logic, he refuses to turn her in to the police. Is there a future between them?

A wealthy and ruthless landowner, Kitsos Mavromitsos, oppresses an entire region and uses his money to buy people and consciences. He feels omnipotent, but a poor young man, Lambros, who is in love with the beautiful Krystallo, stands up for himself and demands what is rightfully his. Kitsos asks for Krystallo's hand from her father, Barba-Chronis, who agrees to make him his son-in-law, but ignores the fact that his daughter loves Lambros. Kitsos then kills Barba-Chronis and pins the murder on Lambros. While Lambros rots in prison, Kitsos seizes the opportunity to marry Krystallo. However, Lambros escapes from prison and returns to the village, revealing the truth. Kitsos gets the punishment he deserves, as he is accidentally killed by his own brother.

Petros, one of Greece's best athletes, decides to end his life with the help of his beloved wife Anna in order to escape his incurable illness and the terrible pain that accompanies it. Anna is then brought to justice on charges of premeditated murder. The trial unfolds through the testimonies of people close to them, who testify about the reasons that led her to this decision. During a break in the trial, mentally and physically exhausted, she cuts her veins and dies. Innocent or guilty? The answer to this question is left to the audience.

In the Thessalian plain, a wealthy landowner creates insecurity among farmers when he brings in a threshing machine and boosts his production to unrealistic levels. The landowner's brother is released from prison and demands his share of the property, while also slandering Thanos, the engineer who found the machine. Thanos is in love with the landowner's daughter. With the consent of the girl's mother, the two young people manage to get married.
