The film tells the story of two friends living in the same neighborhood who struggle to become rich. Selim and Ali are friends. Selim and Ali go to Necdet to ask for work. Necdet gives each of them a thousand lira and tells them to come back in five months with ten thousand lira. The two friends will get to know each other better during their individual struggles for survival.
