In the former Czechoslovakia, 1950s, police captain Hakl investigates a jewelry robbery. An opened safe deposit leads to a known burglar. What seems an easy case soon starts to tangle. When he is called off the case, he continues on his own. The investigation leads him onto thin ice. Can he beat a stronger enemy and save his family and his own life?

Mula lives with her husband, sick mother and daughter Nina in a countryside house. At the weekend before Nina’s First Holy Communion, her brother with his family come for a visit together with Kaja – Mula’s younger sister, who disappeared suddenly 6 years earlier. Kaja is Nina’s biological mother. Mula is afraid that unstable Kaja might want to take her daughter away.

Young documentary film makers from renowned Prague Film School FAMU, inspired by the book, take a closer look at the history of post-war Czechoslovakia and Czech Republic, in order to discover new heroes and remind us of the ones that were forgotten or erased from the history.

Gugara in Evenky language stands for the sound of the bell hanging from a reindeer neck. It's one of the few sounds you could hear in taiga, but recently there's almost nothing but silence. Within the last few weeks, Dimitri and Tatiana, elderly herdsmen, have lost their entire herd. What to do in taiga without it? Especially if you are very last herdsmen in the area. Everybody else already has left life in the forest for the nearby Russian village. This is the story of the decline of a small Siberian community. This observational documentary describes the paradoxical world of former nomads and reindeer herdsman that were forced to abandon their ancient life-ways. Characters of the film are on the different stages of forsaking world which was known us traditional way of life.

A fairy tale of maladjustment, dreams and sick love.

Eugeniusz Rudnik revolutionized the idea of music itself with a pair of scissors and a magnetic tape. As part of the legendary Experimental Studio of Polish Radio, he revealed hidden value in rough and rejected sounds long before the rise of the DJs. In an era of electronic music created in a workshop resembling a scientific lab, he composed music to reach and to portray other human beings. This movie is an attempt to hear the vision of his music.

A portrayal of patients from the Clinic in Cracow. Mr. Sylwester went to hospital for the 23rd time. Mrs. Luiza is in a good mood and has an appetite, although she has problems with her health. Mrs. Józefa worked in theatre as a decoration specialist and she likes to talk about celebrities. The film portrays a microcosm of elder people with their problems, joy, successes and disappointment.

Recently divorced Kinga wants to create a refuge for her children and choses a gated community full of surveillance cameras as a place to live.
