That's where she's kidnapped by the dragon Maok. The King promises half the kingdom to whoever saves the Princess. Three knights take on this challenge. However, none of them succeed. In the gingerbread land, where the dragon takes the princess, the shoemaker Dratewka follows, and succeeds in defeating the beast and returning her home safely.
