In the mid-18th century, the modern day border between Bosnia and Croatia, wasn't just a border between two countries. It was a border between two political powers,The Venetian Republic and the Ottoman Empire, and their respective religions, Christianity and Islam. But, in the midst of that passionate conflict between the East and the West, a romance blossoms between Ivan Revač, a young Croatian assasin working for a local aristocrat, and Leyla, the daughter of an Ottoman bey.

Eliciting images of cancer, this drama explores the illnesses that plague modern Croatia. Four young junkies in Zagreb maturing in the wake of war reflect the petty hatreds, violence, prejudices and mood hanging over the country like a disease that spreads with no cure in sight.

Marko and Atanas are two friends whose lives would be sweet as strudel but for an annoying little problem with their papers. They need a European passport and they are prepared to do almost anything to get one, including buying a wife. With nothing but their brass necks and 7,000 euros, they set out to find the woman of their dreams.

"BLINK" is starting with Jakov and Ivan encounter in Vienna where Ivan flee from his family house in Kaštela and been missing for almost 2 months. Upon arrival back in Croatia, Jakov is filming Ivan, his life with schizophrenia diagnose and his treatments in psychiatric clinics in Split, Rab and Ugljan. Most of the video footage was taken secretly in order to expose the inhumanity and brutality of treatment to which the residents of these institutions are subjected to and the real impact that medicament has on their mental and physical well-being.
