Puppeton, the town of 31 Minutes, faces such an infernally hot Christmas that Santa Claus cancels his visit! Bodoque the rabbit heroically volunteers to rescue the presents from the North Pole, while his friends improvise a disastrous Christmas show. But what they don't expect is Bodoque giving in to some irresistible temptations along the way.

When the evil billionaire Cachirula kidnaps Juanín Juan Harry to complete her bizarre animal collection, the 31 Minutos crew embarks on a chaotic rescue mission, proving that friendship is always worth the chaos.

The 31 Minutos pilot is the second pilot produced by Aplaplac for the series, this time to be presented to Televisión Nacional de Chile for broadcast. It has a structure and designs more similar to what would be seen in the series itself.

Tulio is forced by Sr. Manguera to put on a Christmas show, so he and the rest of the team put one together in record time. While Tulio discovers the true wrerwriwro of Christmas, Bodoque is in charge of going to look for the gifts, avoiding being tempted by Tío Pelado to bet on horse races.

Mounted on a modern set almost 32.8 ft, the show recreates the original spirit of the popular puppet news show. Tulio Triviño, Juan Carlos Bodoque, Patana Tufillo, Juanín Juan Jarry and the rest of the cast deliver live news of sublime importance: the launch of a giant pizza into outer space. In between, classics such as "Mi Equilibrio Espiritual", "Bailan Sin Cesar" or "Mi Muñeca Me Habló", in an online show dedicated especially to all that public that has accompanied them for all these years and who was left with the desire to be part of an unforgettable experience.

Tulio and company disembark to present the final show of their «world tour», but Guaripolo, pretending to be a policeman, puts serious obstacles in their way so that they can present their show.

El Gabinete del Doctor Mojado is the 31 Minutos pilot made to win funding from the Chile's Consejo Nacional de Televisión in 2002. This was an extremely preliminary idea of what the program would be, which at the time was hosted by a fish from a fish tank.

Guaripolo, the children's favorite character of 31 minutos, directs "Radio Guaripolo", from where he broadcasts the program "Guaripolo's Midnight Telephone Pranks", in which in the wee hours of the morning he makes prank calls to a few, for the delight of few others. Towards the end of the seventies, the militants of MIR exiled in Europe, decided to return to Chile in order to support the fight against the military dictatorship. The ones who could would help through legal means, others through clandestinely. Many had children and couldn't' t return with them. So the idea of a community center to shelter these children was born. Project Home gathered 60 kids that were left to the care of 20 people who assumed the responsibility of their upbringing for the years to come.

At the show's studio, everyone was ready and willing to spend Christmas—the happiest day of the year—at home, but Sr. Manguera informs them that, by contract, the 31 minutos crew is obligated to put on a show. special, so they have to put one together in record time.
