Eight iconic performers of the first generation of Brazilian transvestite artists go on stage to celebrate their 50th career jubilee. The film depicts the human, personal dimension behind these icons, deconstructing gender stereotypes.

After receiving a strange picture postcard, Marina knows there’s nothing else to it but to return to Rio de Janeiro, the beautiful city that here seems threatening and almost enchanting.

They came by bike, on foot, by bus, in trailers... They crossed deserts, crossed the continent, slept on the streets, in hotels and in the favelas. Armed with their cameras, thousands of travelers traveled around Rio de Janeiro without spending much money and experienced the World Cup as a big party. Constructed entirely from images taken by the tourists themselves, the short film shows the Rio de Janeiro they discovered and the adventures of experiencing the other side of the World Cup.

Follows the transformation in the mother-daughter relationship of Brazilian actresses Angela and Leandra Leal while confined during the COVID-19 pandemic.

César Benjamin was arrested in August 1971 during student protests against the Brazilian military dictatorship. Although he was a juvenile, he was tried as an adult and sentenced to 13 years in prison. Thanks to the ardent campaigning of his mother Iramaya, working closely together with the Swedish branch of Amnesty International, he was released five years later.
