True story of thirteen totally normal young women that suffered harsh questioning and were put in prison under made up charges of helping the rebellion against Franco back in the 1940s. Despite of their innocence, the thirteen were soon executed without even a trace of evidence of any wrong doing.

May 1, 1929. A decomposing headless body is found inside an abandoned wooden box in Madrid's Atocha train station. The victim is later identified as a Barcelona businessman that vanished six months before.

In childhood and youth, the three were "the inseparables." Luisa married Ángel, then two years later, she left him to marry Ramiro. When he receives the news that Kiki has been murdered, Roberto, affected by the event, begins to elaborate a report on the subject. This time it is a question of getting to the bottom of the matter...

Valencia, 1955. A down-on-her-luck spinster poisons her friend and employers out of envy.

Salamanca, 1973. A congressman in love with his daughter's teacher hires an assassin to kill his wife.
