Woody goes to a magic show. He chomps popcorn and continually ribs the magician about his "easy" tricks, finally driving most of the audience away. Then the magician calls Woody on stage to "assist" him in a few "tricks," which enables him to get back at Woody for some of his taunts. Then Woody turns the tables, putting the magician under a magic spell. As the magician comes out of the spell, he tries to get rid of Woody by shooting him out of a cannon. But after the shot is fired, Woody's still there. In desperation, the magician climbs into the cannon and fires himself off the stage!

Woody Woodpecker is engaged in combat with a big tomcat and after several break-even escapades, Woody finally tricks the cat into a dogcatcher's truck which is filled with dogs with a sour disposition, especially regarding cats. Woody finally shoots the cat off into outer space using a giant rocket (not from Acme).

Wildcat Willie, one of Walter Lantz's lesser known characters, is the protagonist here, a mean widdle kid who runs away from home and masquerades as an orphan. Trouble ensues when Wildcat's new family suspects Wildcat is a rat - er, wildcat. Lots of fast action and violence (Wildcat wields a mean axe).

Public Rat Number One takes along Baby-Face Rat to steal the cheese out of the kitchen icebox. The dishes in the kitchen become animated and chase the marauders, capturing the youngster while the gangster rat escapes. Baby-Face is brought before Policeman Sugar Bowl and given the third degree. He escapes, is chased by the frankfurter-bloodhounds but manages to get away. Arriving back in the rat-hole, he beats up the big rat for leading him astray into a life of crime. He turns the big rat over to the police, and then broadcasts over the radio that crime does not pay.

Woody and Wally share an apartment building. Woody's favorite pastime is playing golf... it's just a shame he plays inside the house instead of outside. Finally, Wally breaks his club and tells him not to make any more noise. Woody decides to forget his troubles by taking a bath. His bathtub is coin-operated and when he inserts a dime for the water, it falls down the drain.

A furious battle ensues until a giant buzz-saw chases the lumberjack away and Woody returns to his dinner.

In a North Pole classroom, Professor Seal is teaching th young seals all about fishing. One little seal would rather practice snowball-juggling and plays hookey, and gets into trouble with the teacher. But back in the classroom a hungry polar bear is waiting to make food out of the seals. The juggling seal does his act and the bear is so impressed that he decides to stay in school and learn to juggle.

Woody finally disposes of the villain by shooting him into outer space via a rocket, another favorite method used by Woody to rid himself of whatever he wanted rid of at the moment. The horse steals the film.
