Woody Woodpecker is a piano tuner forced to play after a bank robber hides out in the piano and points a gun at him.

Wildcat Willie, one of Walter Lantz's lesser known characters, is the protagonist here, a mean widdle kid who runs away from home and masquerades as an orphan. Trouble ensues when Wildcat's new family suspects Wildcat is a rat - er, wildcat. Lots of fast action and violence (Wildcat wields a mean axe).

Woody goes to a magic show. He chomps popcorn and continually ribs the magician about his "easy" tricks, finally driving most of the audience away. Then the magician calls Woody on stage to "assist" him in a few "tricks," which enables him to get back at Woody for some of his taunts. Then Woody turns the tables, putting the magician under a magic spell. As the magician comes out of the spell, he tries to get rid of Woody by shooting him out of a cannon. But after the shot is fired, Woody's still there. In desperation, the magician climbs into the cannon and fires himself off the stage!

A Captain and his first mate shanghai Woody and with plans of having him swab the deck aboard their ship.

Public Rat Number One takes along Baby-Face Rat to steal the cheese out of the kitchen icebox. The dishes in the kitchen become animated and chase the marauders, capturing the youngster while the gangster rat escapes. Baby-Face is brought before Policeman Sugar Bowl and given the third degree. He escapes, is chased by the frankfurter-bloodhounds but manages to get away. Arriving back in the rat-hole, he beats up the big rat for leading him astray into a life of crime. He turns the big rat over to the police, and then broadcasts over the radio that crime does not pay.

Oswald is riding on a camel; he defeats an attacking lion, using the camel's humps as cannonballs. In Cairo, he meets a queen and sings her his theme song; the sphinx and a couple pyramids join in, but the king isn't as happy.

In a North Pole classroom, Professor Seal is teaching th young seals all about fishing. One little seal would rather practice snowball-juggling and plays hookey, and gets into trouble with the teacher. But back in the classroom a hungry polar bear is waiting to make food out of the seals. The juggling seal does his act and the bear is so impressed that he decides to stay in school and learn to juggle.

A schooner anchors at the South Pole, and the skipper goes ashore and leaves the ship's mascot, a St. Bernard dog, to stand watch and guard the ship. A small penguin, Chilly Willy (the only penguin not equipped for cold weather...anywhere), sees the ship and tries to get warm by its stove. The watchdog attempts to get rid of him, but Willy manages to get the dog drunk from the rum in its own cask. The captain returns to find Willy saving the ship from sinking, while the dog is found sleeping it off. Willy is made mascot and the dog is tossed in the ship's brig.

Chilly and Maxie escape from the zoo and are hitchhiking on the highway.

Woody mistakes an about-to-be-launched rocket for a high-rise luxury treehouse. He becomes a space traveler and causes havoc along the way.

Woody Woodpecker is pestered by a mosquito, and the idiotic exterminator he hires does not improve things.

Chilly Willy and his friend the polar bear play rock music, which disturbs a ship's captain.

At the Sandwich Islands, which includes the "deviled egg" island, the "hot dog on a bun" island, and the "hamburger" island (with a sign, "Hold the Onions"), we see a man on the "tunaville" island surveying the area with a telescope. He notices a crate full of musical instruments wash ashore and alerts the others. The tribe finds these instruments strange and unusual at first but eventually really get the hang of them, particularly one member who plays a hot piano, his playing being somewhat interrupted by a pestiferous crab.

Disaster ensues when Oswald neglects his day care center. I won't spoil the experience for you; just let this document of one-sided American "history" wash over you like a cool fungus.

The Jingling Bros. Circus is performing in the town that farm horse Sugarfoot lives in. Sugarfoot falls for one of the stars, a pretty horse named Starbrite.

Two convicts escape from prison in the Wild West and disguise themselves as a horse. Sugarfoot sees the "horse" and falls in love. Later, Woody and Sugarfoot learn about the phony pony, and they try to send the convicts back to jail.

At the carnival, Champ is persuaded to enter a boxing attraction with "The Australian Bounder", a fighting kangaroo. The winner receives $500.00 if he can stay 4 rounds with the animal. Doc and Champ are pleased to accept but the kangaroo and its manager don't exactly fight fair. To help Champ win, Doc comes up with a variety of schemes such as convincing the kangaroo that Champ is a mother with child, then that Champ has the measles, and, in the final round, by putting Champ on a unicycle so he can outrun his foe.

Woody Woodpecker is engaged in combat with a big tomcat and after several break-even escapades, Woody finally tricks the cat into a dogcatcher's truck which is filled with dogs with a sour disposition, especially regarding cats. Woody finally shoots the cat off into outer space using a giant rocket (not from Acme).

Woody is in Rome and is upsetting the Emperor, so he has his guard chase him down.

A little mouse runs away from home and goes to sea. Aboard the ship, a rat starts to educate the mouse on the ways of sea-farin' mice by sending him to the galley to steal cheese from the Captain's table. But the Captain's parrot, a sea-goin' snitch, spots the thievery and squawks loud and long about it. That brings the whole crew down after the mouse, who gets away and learns that there is no place like home.
