Two fellow athletes fall in love with the same girl. They try to get money for her treatment for cancer.

Veronica went out for a motorcycle ride one evening and was hit by a drunk driver who did not want to stop. Now she moves in a wheelchair and dreams of an operation for which she does not have the means. One day she meets Andrei, a young but successful lawyer.
