A story set in Uruguay in 1993. It revolves around an investigation by a law court lawyer, Julia. She's looking into the possibility that a chemist named Eugenio Barrios is being secretly sheltered in Uruguay by right-wing political powers.

Fernando, a lonely and tormented man, gets a job as a night watchman in a warehouse close to being demolished. The building is huge, with several floors and wings interconnected by a confusing network of corridors and stairs. One night, Fernando hears strange noises and finds a gate open that should be closed. From that moment on, nothing will be the same.

For more than forty years, Belela Herrera has dedicated her life to saving that of others. The politically persecuted, those displaced by civil wars, and the world's refugees are her concern and vocation. Her story is also that of a woman who defined herself and twisted the destiny reserved for girls of her social class: marrying to a man from high society, having a large family and a comfortable and elegant existence . And it is also the story of a female legacy that is part and consequence of the invisible resistance of thousands of women.

Cecilia and Carlos, a daughter and a father, inspired a Norwegian play written by Elin Moe that deals with the consequences left in their lives by the Uruguayan dictatorship. Cecilia directed this film close to the premiere of the play, where Carlos talks about his unspoken truth: his years in prison and his exile.

The story of how a Uruguayan political prisoner, Jorge Tiscornia, from 1972 on, secretly kept a meticulous and personal record of his living conditions during the 4646 days (More than twelve years) that he was in prison in Penal de Libertad: the largest political prison in the 1970s' Latin America.

An intimate documentary portrait of an exceptional couple who live in a suburb of Montevideo: Julia, a 65-year-old transsexual whose new gender identity has finally been recognised (after twelve years) by the Uruguayan state, and Ignacio, her lover, a former construction worker with a troubled past. Inseparable for 20 years, the couple are now preparing for marriage. Aldo Garay’s camera follows Julia and Ignacio’s joys and worries, patiently revealing the sources of the strength of their relationship.

Marcela Acuña is the number one female boxer in the country, with more than 30 wins and a few losses, but that's all in the past. Director Matilde Michanie uses the life of this boxer as a starting point, a long flashback that begins when "La Tigresa" heads to Luna Park, the cradle of Argentine boxing, to fight for the world title. In this way, she introduces us not only to a personal life story but also to the stories of different female boxers from around the world, providing an overview of how women's boxing is viewed beyond the Río de la Plata.

Through the present-day lives of three young people, children of political militants from the 70s, the story of their families during the Uruguayan military dictatorship is re-told. It’s a story that begins with a picture of a poster held up in a crowd and a postcard chosen quite by chance.
