BRD 1982: Hubertus and Sebastian never want to become like their fathers. The music and their shared love for punk princess Debbie are the only ways to escape the stink of floor wax and stinginess. Out of defiance, he joins the violent nuclear power plant resistance, thus upsetting the tranquil chaos of the commune. The big bang, however, comes when a reactor explodes in distant Chernobyl. Exactly on the day Bobby Ewing dies, the petroleum prince from "Dallas" and series favorite of the commune.

In today’s Friesland, Fuchs, a food inspector in the district, is always in a good mood and committed to investigating North German snack bars.
