Girl meets girl, still likes boy, and all hell breaks loose.

A fast-paced documentary about a second generation of punk rockers living in Toronto. It offers insight into this segment of culture by videotaping in the streets, bars, and homes of punks. Conversations are intercut with the music of the punk bands at the core of the scene.

"Hello, My Name Is Herman" poignantly and humorously describes the relationship between a 91-year-old Jewish man, his lesbian granddaughter and her girlfriend. This ten-minute documentary explores intergenerational and interracial relationships, coming out, aging, and the process of accepting difference and love.

In "SPINELESS", artist Marissa Sean Cruz embodies an ogre-girl character who gets a bone lodged in her throat and is unsure if she has died from asphyxiation. Set in a digitally-rendered room , this abstracted narrative is told through a series of vignettes that look to greed, hope, and self-fulfilment in contemporary times. The ogre is caught in the chokehold of some kind of technological hell that is as absurd and alienating as the real online/offline culture it references. This purgatory world formed from a digital economy, nihilism and pressingly, under the state of climate crisis.
