The story of the Cyprus' turbulent recent history using the device of a desperate man, Evagoras (Costas Timvios), who returns to the island after years of absence to look for his wife and son. His family disappeared while they were visiting his native village on Cyprus, just when the Turkish army invaded (1974). As Evagoras goes out on his search each day with a friendly taxi driver, flashbacks illustrate the recent history of the Greek Cypriots, and the normally quiet Evagoras heads closer and closer to a militant stance.

Follows three interconnected stories in modern day Nicosia, Cyprus: a civil engineer is blamed for the collapse of a building; a teenage girl becomes involved in a dangerous sexual relationship; two radicalized Arab women plan out an Islamic terrorist attack.

Longing for a better life, Evagoras and Onisilios decide to emigrate to the Persian Gulf to earn enough money to start their own business. When they return home, the pair open a night club. However, their past catches up with them. Greece's submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1997.

Summer at Cyprus seems at first like a gift for Alexandra (Maria Kitsou) and Orestes (Hristodoulos Martas), who travel from Athens to spend the season with Orestes' parents at their seaside residence. However, they soon become enveloped in the turbulence of local politics between Greeks and Turks after getting involved with a family production of a Euripides play.

Mairy, a thirty-year-old woman from Philippines, works in a village in Cyprus. She takes care of Mr. Michalis, an eigthy-five-year-old man with arteriosclerosis. Mr. Michalis spends his days in front of the television, watching time and again a soap opera with a heroine named Anna. He soon becomes obsessed with this heroine, to the point of calling Mairy 'Anna', despite the remarks of his daughter Melpo. When Mairy finds some old photographs she makes an important discovery...

In 1970 the people of Karmi in Cyprus participate in an unprecedented experience: the shooting of the film "Beloved", with Hollywood cast and crew. This documentary functions as a kaleidoscope, transmitting images of that magical time and of the traumatic changes in their lives after the Turkish invasion. Four decades later, they revisit nostalgically those old beloved days.

Stories of faith, loss, and redemption come together in a drama that centers on the drifting isolation of its characters, even as they seek connection through love and family. Aliki and her husband Andreas try unsuccessfully to conceive a child, causing her to turn increasingly to religious devotion and the hope for a miracle. Secretly gay Marios lives with his mother and works to evade her inquiries into his life. The stories come together at the grave of a child.

Trapped in the misery of an oppressive marriage, a middle-aged woman finds refuge in a fantasy world of vindictive violence. Soon, reality and fantasy start to blur.

Two sisters have lost their father during the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974. When they learn that there are chances he might be still alive, they travel to Turkey to search for him.

Eleni lives alone, haunted by memories of her past. Her life is a routine until she witnesses a quarrel between a young couple in the house across the street. One afternoon, Eleni receives an unexpected visit from Rhea, the young woman from the house across the street. She has locked herself out and needs to use Eleni's phone in order to call a locksmith. And so begins a relationship between the two women with unforseen consequences for them both.

A woman with her daughter visits a ruined village in the middle of Cyprus flat land. Ex villagers, Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots come to the ruins and each of them narrates a personal story of war. The conflict, which took place in 1964, transformed the peaceful, mixed village to a deserted area.
