A commune built around the pursuit of spiritual perfection through the occult begins to see its prophecies come true.

Warsaw, 1909. Arthur Herling makes an assassination attempt on a Russian police official and his family. During the action, the officer's daughter is killed and his wife is maimed. The wounded militant is arrested. Tormented by remorse, Herling agrees to cooperate with the tsarist authorities as a provocateur. Into his cell comes Adam Tanski, suspected of having contacts with the wanted conspirator Andrzej Woyda. One day, while being transported in a prison ambulance, Herling kills the guards. Accompanying him, Adam urges him to escape to the mountains.

However, this does not suit Sławek, who prefers to play as a substitute organist, and even... as a disco-polo musician.

The film tells about mainly three people - Max, a bored, smart, poor University Professor of Philosophy; Ramzes, a mafia leader, cool, strong, merciless bully and Stella, Ramzes girlfriend.

This is the story of Sylvia, who loses her stepchildren on a shopping trip in Poland. For fear of losing her husband's love too, she is unable to tell him what has happened and returns home, pretending everything is fine. When he realizes that his children are missing, the father begins a desperate search. He is ready to give up anything in order to find them. Sylvia supports him in any way; she tries to comfort him and takes care of his hope's vulnerable flame. For the first time he really needs her. While the children are trying their best to get home, the police fail in detecting their whereabouts. When a very vague trace leads to Poland, the parents hit the road to find the children on their own.

Barbara leads a stable life, is fulfilled professionally and has a loving family. Her foster daughter Alicja, who learns that she is adopted, decides to find her biological mother. When Alicja finds the real mother, the life of the main characters changes, and the positive relationships that linked them become blurred.

Joanna and Jan's marriage seems happy. After the birthday party is over, Joanna unwraps the gifts she received. One of them is a videotape with a recording of a regional TV program, during which a historian named Marczak tells about Jan's cooperation with the political police, which began back in the 1950s, by reporting on Joanna's father. At first, Joanna believes in her husband's innocence, but soon becomes suspicious and begins a private investigation.

His achievements include twenty feature films - including theatrical and television films, medium-length films, directing in theaters, in the Television Theater. "A Place on Earth," "The Door in the Wall," "Westerplatte," "Birth Certificate," "Solitude for Two," "Fallen Leaves from the Trees," "The Lynx," "Mrs. Latter's Pension" are just some of the titles of his films. "Living Images" is also a story about working with a film crew: screenwriters - including his brother Tadeusz, cinematographers - Jerzy Wojcik, about methods of working with actors, about perplexities with censorship, about the activities of the TOR film team, of which he was the founder and artistic director. Stanislaw Różewicz's reflections are supplemented by excerpts from his films and photographs documenting his work on them.
