Amin, an aspiring screenwriter living in Paris, returns home for the summer, in Sète, South of France. It is a time of reconnecting with his family and his childhood friends. Together with his cousin Tony and his best friend Ophélie, he spends his time between the Tunisian restaurant run by his parents, the local bars and the beaches frequented by girls on holiday.

Oddball characters, weird mishaps, fates intertwining: the search for the meaning of life goes on. A college student falls for her philosophy lecturer; a disabled man seeks recovery; a popstar meets a spiritual guru; and the arrival of a mysterious luminescent man, perhaps real or perhaps not.

When Sergio learns that he will soon have a baby brother, his imagination kicks into gear in devious and alarming ways. But when his mother suffers a miscarriage, Sergio's feelings of guilt are all too real.
