A married, indie band duo regretfully takes a job on a children's show ("Rumperbutts"). Despite the money and success, they are miserable. However, on one magical evening, a mysterious man appears and gives them a second chance.

When a realtor shows an old New York factory building to a group of would-be investors, they are unwittingly caught in its tragic and sinister history.

Over the course of one torturous night, a suicidal woman and the violent home intruder that saved her life test the limits of human endurance and the boundaries of forgiveness.
