Irimias, a villager thought to be dead, returns and, unbeknownst to the locals, is a police informant. In a scheme, he persuades the villagers to form a commune with him.

The unskilled, jack-of-all-trades András and his wife, Éva are put in jail for serial work-place thefts, -committed in order to try to ensure a normal living standard for his family - and for aggravated assault committed for self-defence, respectively. Their two small children are put in state care, then given to foster parents. András, still in prison, commits everything to help the released Éva get hold of an apartment and get their children back so that when he will have served his term the family could be together again.

Marguerite Gautier, a beautiful Parisian courtesan turned courtesan, falls in love with the son of a country nobleman of modest means. This ardent love makes her give up her former lifestyle and move to the country with the boy. With the help of Heziapiszi's Bag of Bones, they embark on a major investigation and find the box containing seven bird sounds in a row. Finally, Hiziapiszi and his companions donate all the bird sounds to a sick little boy to bring the sounds of the forest into his room.

King Tobiah, the ruler of the country of Dinom-danom, announces a pancake-making competition for the girls of the area. He is supposed to give his son to the one who makes the best pancakes. As it is in fairy tales: the enterprising girls all fail. Not so for Pigeon-eyed Ladybird, who wins the competition, but she doesn't want the prince... Meanwhile, Derelye, the evil chef who is destroying countries with his gang, is plundering the larder of the country of Dínom-dánom, but Prince Elias (Lajos Balázsovits) is determined to put an end to the wastefulness and thievery. He is aided by Csöröge, the loyal fool, and the pancake-making skills of Kökényeyűű Katica are of great help in the fight.
