Despite the mother goat's warning, the little goats fall for the wolf's tricks, open the door and all but one are eaten. The mother finds her last child, takes heart and approaches the sleeping wolf. She frees her children from its belly. The beast gets a load of stones sewn into its stomach and falls into the well while drinking.

A fisherman once caught a talking golden fish. He gave him his freedom and was allowed to make a wish in return. He asked for a boat, but this was not enough for his wife, who demanded a house. Driven by his wife's greed, the fisherman demanded more and more until he had lost all the wealth he had gained.

There once was a poor miller who had no children but only three apprentices to work for him. The two older boys were lazy, mean and stupid, but youngest was hard-working, friendly, and cheerful. When the miller grows too old to work, he send the boys out into the world. Whoever brings back the most beautiful horse will inherit the mill.

This puppet animation film is based on Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf. A 1936 symphonic fairy tale for children, the piece tells the story of Peter and a little bird who outwit and catch the dangerous wolf and take him to a zoo.

The chief of police wants to take credit for the success and leads the bust of the counterfeiters. While he celebrates his success, the little detective gets into an almost ruined bank with a piece of counterfeit money he has captured by chance and becomes a rich man in high society.

Animated short film based on the Andersen tale. A king envies his son for the carefree way he spends his days and wants to find him a wife. She must not only be beautiful, but also particularly sensitive, which she must prove with the pea test in bed. A mother left her daughter a spindle, needle and weaver's shuttle next to their tiny cottage. With these tools, the girl creates the most beautiful objects. Her diligence and modesty are ultimately rewarded – they bring a royal suitor to her door.

Puppet animated film based on a fairytale by the Brothers Grimm.

The first animated feature film made in East Germany. The people of Shilda were once welcome at the courts of princes all over the world, but back at the Shilda castle work remained and had to be carried out by the women of the town. The devil is trapped in Kasper's fridge, but it is stolen by robbers and the devil escapes. He steals Kasper's car and flees. Kasper pursues him to hell and has a friendly conversation with the devil's grandmother. She decides that Kasper will get his car back and the devil will be punished with house arrest.

Rooster, cat, dog and donkey become homeless in old age for various reasons, wander and sing together. This gruesomely funny singing may not be enough to become Bremen's town musicians, but it is enough to drive away evil robbers and spend a peaceful old age in their house.
