Recorded in Paris, Theatre de l'espace Cardin. Louise is single, Alexandre is in the middle of a divorce, she has no children, he has three, she is more on the left, he is more on the right. Great actors have interpreted, in the theater or in the cinema, the roles of François Pignon or François Perrin. But the one who, without any doubt, knew how to give him his letters of nobility on the big screen was Pierre Richard who interpreted seven times the characters of Perrin and Pignon. Two cult characters from the imagination of the famous director and screenwriter Francis Veber. For 15 years, the collaboration of the Pierre Richard-Francis Veber duo offered huge public and popular successes that have stood the test of time and entered the pantheon of the greatest French comedies.

A look back at "La Cage aux Folles", which ran non-stop for five years, from February 1973, on the stage of the Théâtre du Palais Royal in Paris. At a time when homosexuality was considered a crime by the law, Poiret and Serrault achieved great success in boulevard theater. Their success continued on the silver screen, with three Oscar nominations and a Broadway musical. Combining never-before-seen archives from the play, extracts from the film, confessions by Poiret and Serrault, and interviews with witnesses, this is the story of a wild epic.

Fifty years after her first recording in Nashville, Sylvie Vartan decided to record the album she sings on to mark this anniversary there. In one of the songs, she says: I have forged my own path, without turning back. Leaving my mistakes behind me. I ventured into unknown territory, avoiding pitfalls, and I came back. It is on this "road," both public and personal, starting from her native Bulgaria to Paris, passing through a thousand places around the world, traversing fashions and overcoming the trials of an extraordinary life, that this film sets out to illuminate the trajectory of a shy young girl who became an international icon and a resolutely free woman.

This documentary follows the legendary African singer and guitarist Ali Farka Touré (who died in 2006) as he returns to his home and musical roots in Niafunké, the village on the banks of the River Niger in Mali. Touré now sees himself as a farmer and family man, and is trying to improve agricultural and social conditions in the province of Timbuktu. The region has no roads and no electricity and Touré himself drove director Marc Huraux across the vast expanse of unforgiving desert land that surrounds Niafunké to make this film. The cameras accompany Touré as he goes about his daily farm business, and fulfilling his role and responsibilities as an important local figure.
