A pathetic and desperate man is kicked out of his neighborhood bar at last call. Pulling a gun he holds the young and ineffectual bartender hostage with the threat of his own suicide. The focus shifts to the young man behind the bar where a dangerous game of psychological warfare begins and ends.

A cafe worker is violently jolted from her day-to-day existence when offered the startling revelation that this world may be on the brink of destruction, revolution—or both.
