The world is devastated by an ecological catastrophe. An old mercenary with a lung disease receives a seemingly simple assignment to deliver a young girl to a destination that would enable him to retire.

The film is a personal statement of the director and his wife, who have to deal with a very rare and incurable disease of their newborn child – the Ondine’s Curse (also known as CCHS, congenital central hypoventilation syndrome). People affected with this disease stop breathing during sleep and require a lifetime mechanical ventilation on a ventilator. The film shows the process of taming fear associated with the disease.

Olga, a student who is awkward in life and emotionally, moves into her grandmother's apartment. Initially, she sees her fate as a loser - her roommate gets on her nerves, and the housing estate she knows from childhood seems to be a depressing place. A chance visit to the local bar makes her realize that the estate is inhabited by a strange but fascinating community.

Residents of the village have been displaced due to radioactive contamination. The Regional Council removed the village from the register on June 21, 1991. Today, only two inhabitants remain in what used to be the village of Mali Klischi. The Leading characters of the film are a mother and son - Nina (79 y.o.) and Alexander ( 62 y.o.). There is a great misunderstanding between them, despite the fact that they live together for many years. In order to remain in their houses they have paid the highest price - loneliness.
