The story centers on the Roman merchant Piacchi, who raises the foundling Nicolo after the death of his son and bequeaths all his possessions to the young man. However, the adopted son turns against Piacchi and his wife.

Emily, a child, stays with her bourgeois grandparents during frequent periods when her mother makes films. Isabelle wraps a picture, flies to her childhood home to pick up Emily, and plans to leave for her place in France. Old wounds between Isabelle and her parents open around Isabelle's life style. It's also apparent that Isabelle's mother, Paula, is unhappy - with her husband and with her youthful hopes dashed when she became pregnant with Isabelle. Unbeknownst to Isabelle, the co-star of the film she's just made has followed her, checked into a nearby hotel, and wants to begin an affair, even though he's married. Can Isabelle sort it out? What's best for Emily?

Germany 1939. Hans and Lene marry the day before the war breaks out, and Hans is sent to the Eastern front. During a bombing raid their daughter Anna is born. The house is destroyed and Lene and Anna moves in with relatives in Berlin. Hans survives the war but he is not the same person as in 1939, and he and Lene find it difficult to live together again.

A lone scholar researches the visual and textual worlds of National Socialism. The film approaches a critical understanding of "German identity" from a multimedia perspective - off-screen commentary is superimposed over shots of paintings, literary quotations over feature film sequences and at the center of the film is a television debate on the subject of nature. The focus is on the German concept of "Heimat" and its connection to romantic notions of nature.

Film adaptation of the short Büchner story of the same name, which tells of the stay of the psychotic Sturm und Drang poet Lenz in the home of the Alsatian priest and philanthropist Oberlin. “In-Side-Out” is the debut film by US beat poet George Moorse, a wildly colorful pop poem. The film critic Enno Patalas described “In-Side-Out” as a “fantastic abracadabra and erotic delirium” and considered it the best West German film at the 1965 Oberhausen festival. “In-Side-Out” was also the LCB's first film production: the cheerful and colorful kaleidoscope of romantic love, told as an associatively swirling sequence of images.

In this essayistic piece, the only finalized installment of the television series "Fiction - Non Fiction", commissioned by Literarisches Colloquium Berlin (LCB), Günter Bruno Fuchs is— among other things— raising money for the demolition of the Siegessäule, while quoting Walter Benjamin's Berliner Kindheit um Neunzehnhundert.

The grotesque portrayal of an attempt at communication, graphically and rigorously depicted: In the LCB's second production, Peter Rühmkorf and Helmut Herbst bitingly trace a relationship story that is already over before it has begun.

Wolfgang Ramsbott's first film for the Literary Colloquium Berlin (LCB): "Technische Universität Berlin" is a kind of image film for the Technical University of Berlin, where Walter Höllerer, director of the LCB, taught as professor of literary studies. But the experimental filmmaker Ramsbotts was hardly interested in the institution itself: his camera rather feasted on the rattling, flashing and hissing machines. As head of the film department, Ramsbott realised mainly experimental documentaries on literary themes in the following years.
