"Shin Mimibukuro," which has greatly influenced numerous Japanese horror works such as "Ring" and "Ju-on," is finally being fully adapted into a complete visual format for the first time. The directors include Takashi Shimizu of "Ju-on," Hideo Nakata of "Ring 0," actor Shiro Sano, and Akio Yoshida, the veteran of TBS dramas such as "Kamaitachi no Yoru," all of whom are distinguished talents in the horror world. The cast is also spectacular, featuring a diverse array of talents such as Rina Uchiyama, Kaoru Okunuki, Nao Omori, Mako Ishino, Hitomi Miwa, Riko Kurita, Nobuto Okamoto, and Ikkei Watanabe.

8 short stories comprise this anthology movie, based on the Tales of Terror TV series. The segments are, in order: The Night Watchman (directed by Akio Yoshida), Wisps of Smoke (Kosuke Suzuki), Gloves (Hirohisa Sasaki), The Weight (Kosuke Suzuki), Full-Length Mirror (Ryuta Miyake), Line of Sight (Keisuke Toyoshima), The Promise (Keita Amemiya) and Hisao (Shun'ichi Hirano).

Although they are still teenagers, the Zenigata Sisters are detectives, and have a grandfather in the Inspector General. They possess an uncanny knack for solving crimes, but no one knows that they are investigators. The Zenigata Sisters have been busy solving crimes around the nation, and are faced with a case surrounding their own family. Unless three crimes are solved, the perpetrator threatens to escalate his crimes. It is then that Rui, Mai and Rei begin receiving mail on their cell phones from the police department. The trap set by the perpetrator has the sisters stumped. Will they be able to solve the crime in time?
