The main character is Zdeněk, a professor of botany who is unable to calculate his bill at a restaurant, and waiters look forward to seeing him from afar. He is the ideal target for con artists. His wife Sára, with whom he no longer lives but maintains a very friendly relationship, takes care of his taxes. Zdeněk has a rather attractive gardening show on television. In order not to lose out, Sára invented Miss Flintová, to whose account she sends generous sums for alleged PR services. The enterprising tax advisor extended Miss Flintová's activities to her other clients as well. It is a million-dollar fraud.No wonder the tax office is taking an interest in Miss Flint. They are searching for her diligently. Even the surprised and indignant honest man Zdeněk learns of the existence of the non-existent Miss Flint. Where to conjure up Miss Flint all of a sudden?

Bohumil Modrý, the best hockey goalie in the world, who significantly contributed to the first international successes of Czechoslovak hockey after World War II. In 1948, he was offered a job in the NHL, but his stellar sports career and happy family life were destroyed by a trumped-up political trial in 1950. He died prematurely in 1963 at the age of 46 from the effects of imprisonment and radiation.

Zuzana is an attractive and likable art student who works alongside her studies because she would like to start a life of her own. Like many young people, she is trying to find what would fulfill her, what she would like to do, find out who she would like to live with. The supermarket however does not exist and is not meant to. Will people believe in it and show up for the grand opening?
