In 1942 during the time of war, Tatar Ramazan goes to jail because murder after argument on lands. When he gets out, he finds out that the life outside is much harder.

Commissioner Musa, Kemal, and Ekrem arrive at Ayfer's brothel after receiving a report of a murder. A man has been killed. Shortly thereafter, Commissioner Musa is murdered by a killer named Orhan. Orhan works for a very famous businessman named Şahmat. Commissioner Musa and Kemal attempt to apprehend Orhan and bring Şahmat to justice.

Nükhet and Orhan are two young people who love each other. Orhan's father pressures Orhan to break up with Nükhet, and they separate. Nükhet becomes a famous singer. Orhan marries another woman and has a child. They meet Nükhet on a business trip, and their old love reignites. Nükhet, who wants to become a famous dancer, meets Selim.

The residents of a poor neighborhood have lost all their money to a banker. A young lawyer born in this neighborhood wants to take on the defense, but his boss, who has borrowed money from the banker at interest, forces him to drop the case. Later, he takes on the case in order to repay his debt of gratitude to the people who raised him, but he will have to pay the price for doing so.

Ferdi, one of three childhood friends, leaves his money with his friends before going to prison for a robbery they committed. In prison, Halil grows up as a rowdy man. Later, fate will bring the two brothers together, but in opposite sides of the law: Halil is a paid assassin, and his brother is a public prosecutor. When the Mafia pays Halil to kill his own brother, he refuses - and the Mafia retaliates by killing his wife. Halil vows to revenge her.
