Marjorie the cow lives in a run-down stable in the middle of Bethlehem. Nothing exciting ever happens in Bethlehem until now… there’s a census or something and there’s going to be some sort of street party – that’s what Marje has heard, anyway!

Arthur is ably assisted in the Command Performance by Terry Kilkelly (from BBC Radio 4’s award winning Count Arthur Strong’s Radio Show!) playing Malcolm and Renee, and Dave Plimmer (from BBC1’s BAFTA nominated Count Arthur Strong TV series) as Alan Leslie.

Having consulted with top Harley Street specialists, the St Anne’s Jombulance Brigade and Professor Witty, (who I never found funny?) the one that did Covid, (the bald one), Count Arthur Strong has decided to gradually phase in his farewell to the nation with a tour over a, as yet to be specified, number of parts because of the likelihood of people doing cold turkey in theatres over him. Whilst partial himself to a bit of cold turkey, particularly with some sliced up gherkin and a squirt of salad cream in a sandwich, it is banned in most theatre auditoriums, (apart from in the north east), because of it getting trodden into the carpets etc, and the cumulative smell. To avoid any inconvenience, you can now watch Arthur in the comfort of your own home filmed live during this never to be forgotten start to his farewell tour.

As well as being the all round entertainer we all know and love from the telly, Count Arthur Strong is also a lifelong fan of astronomy, since having been given a microscope, or whatever it is they use, for Christmas when he was a small precocious baby. In fact it's said the first word he spoke was 'Uranus'. In this, his brand new show, he seamlessly combines the very best of showbiz entertainment you'll currently find, in the world, possibly, as he wrestles with some of the big questions that all round entertainers shy away from. Are we alone in the universe? Is there life on Mars bars? 2lbs of potatoes. Packet of ginger nuts. Don't lose this shopping list.

Count Arthur Strong returns! This time ‘Alive and Unplugged’ (whatever that means?). In his first solo show for some years, the noble Count takes us back to what he does best… not that he wasn’t doing his best before… because he was. He only knows how to do his best… So in this wonderful new show he’s still doing the best…he can… The show business colossasus (check that), takes us back on a journey through his early career. Using the latest technology and all that, he will be delving into his own personal box of video cassettes and talking us (you) through the highlights of his glittering TV career and many of his trademark stories we’ve come to love him for.
