In this Terrytoon,Foofle goes on a tour-train guided-excursion. But, par for his usual course, he screws everything up from the schedule to the baggage.

A devious fox comes to a small farm and uses flattery to trick the ducks, chickens and roosters into coming with him, supposedly to compete at the County Fair. Dinky is desperate to come along, too, but the fox rejects the little black duck for the same reason all the other farm birds shun him: he's too small. Dinky, however, discovers that the fox has tricked all the birds into his cave. The fox has them caged and plans to roast them in his oven. It's up to the once-despised Dinky to come to the rescue.

Papa Bear, his cubs and the Hound Dog go duck hunting and, as usual, the experts (Papa and the dog) have nothing but misadventures, while the amateur hunters bag all the ducks. When Papa returns home, empty-handed, angry and frustrated, he throws the ammunition into the fireplace, followed by a barrage of bullets firing upward through the chimney and bringing down a flock of ducks that were flying overhead.

Heckle and Jeckle, the talking magpies, are in need of upgraded-housing and decide to help themselves to the logs and lumber laying unused in Big Pierre's lumber yard. Big Pierre thinks this a bit high-handed on the part of the two birds, and his objections leads to several battles and mêlées, which leads to a big explosion which causes the logs to fall and form a house. But the house collapses, and Heckle and Jeckle shrug it off and depart the premises.

Clint Clobber, superintendent of the Flamboyant Arms, is watching the fights on an old-fashioned TV set.

The Terry-Bears hear howling and waken their father, who is also frightened. A big dog comes in, and the cubs want to keep it but Papa Bear kicks it outside. The kids get the dog back inside and Papa decides to get rid of it and takes it away in his car. A traffic-cop is knocked down and gives chase. Later, the Terry-Bears are happy when the dog returns on his own, wearing a policeman's cap, while Papa Bear is in court giving an explanation to a judge.

Heckel and Jeckle decide it is too much trouble and time-consuming, not to mention wear-and-tear on their wings, to fly south for the winter, so they will pose as orphans and find some kindly old grandmother to take care of them when the snow flies. They do. But the kindly old grandmother turns out to be a disguised-wolf who has an appetite for magpie soup. This is not at all what they had in mind.

A combination of the stories of "Cinderella" with "Jack and the Beanstalk," in which Sad Cat beats his two "dear, mean brothers" up the giant beanstalk. Sad Cat's two brothers poke fun at him for being so dumb. He goes into the business of selling magic beans.

The Terry Bears, to Papa Bear's distress, try to train their hound Pago to be a rabbit dog. When Papa takes Pago hunting, the rabbits prove to be smarter than both him and the dog.

As Percy, the cat, is chasing Little Roquefort, the mouse, a small pussycat appears at the front door, and Percy tries to make it an ally. However, the playful pussy likes Roquefort as a playmate, and they team up against Percy. Finally, Percy's mistress, givers his bed to the newcomer, and he shares it with his newly-acquired mouse friend.
The mice of Cheeseville, who are farmers, are having a Saturday night barn dance.

One of Clint Clobber's tenants keeps a seal in his flat. After discovering the seal, Clint goes mad. He then tells his tenant he can't keep Alvin (the seal) because no animals are allowed. A man looking for a circus act visits the tenant, and is not highly impressed by the seal, until Clint chases Alvin. The man then wants to sign the seal and Clint as a "clown with seal" act. Alvin doesn't want to work with Clint and she moves to another flat with its owner. Clint is upset, because he thinks he could have been a "clown superstar".

The Talking Magpies, Heckel and Jeckel, are working as professional house-wreckers, and they run up against an escapee, wanted-criminal bulldog who is hiding out in a house they have been hired to demolish. Before the confusion and destruction that follows his discovery, the bulldog wishes he had stayed in jail.
