Occupied Croatia, 1991. An army major reluctantly agress to take care of a cow that's been left for dead in a recently abanndoned building, however, taking care of the creature reveals deeper truths about the human nature to him.

A man with somewhat antisocial behavior and a particularly rude and harsh style of dealing with his clients falls in love with the wrong person, who is also his customer. He is a car junkie on the outskirts, while she is a young actress on the rise. They are brought together by an old car, which to the young actress remains as a memory from her grandfather. After initial rejection, he's the only guy in town who can fix that old timer, and she's the only one who makes him realize that cars might not be the center of the world.

But in this part of the world, the locals hide American citizen of distant Montenegrin ancestry, in order to make him "their man" against Montenegro's independence. USA looks for its citizen through NATO troops, and the air raid on Prchevo is about to begin.

Mladen (44) Belgrade born, is a timeshare salesman at Montenegrin Holiday resort. He is having an affair with his colleague, Sonja (40), who is married to Metod (50) the chief sales manager who learns about his wife's infidelity. He assigns Mladen the toughest client - Omer, a Bosnian war veteran, who doesn't try to hide his aversion to Mladen. Everything becomes hopeless when Omer's three year old son Svendy falls over the edge of the hotel terrace and ends up in a hospital. Grim mood that prevails among the potential buyers is about to ruin the sales. Sonja and Metod blackmail Mladen to continue the sales at the hospital while Omer and his wife are waiting for their son's operation.

In 19th-century Montenegro, the free mountain territories are surrounded by Turkish forces, isolated from the West and steeped in conservatism, patriarchy, and superstition. The main character is a young and very beautiful girl, Marijana. Marijana is 25 and when she was 16, her father's boss sexually abused her. Marijana's father did nothing against his boss, and because of that became very successful at his profession due to the boss' assistance. Marijana's father became a famous discreet gynaecologist for illegal abortions. Ten years after the incident, Marijana's family is very rich and popular in her town of Podgorica. Marijana did not forget what happened to her when she was younger. Marijana decides that it is time to avenge what was done to her. She does this by becoming a prostitute, and sleeping with her father's colleagues and there by harming his reputation. At one moment Marijana meets a poor but talented sculptor named Vanja whom she begins to love and care for. Marijana soon discovers that the world of prostitution and love of Vanja cannot coexist.

"The Flood" is a story about unjustifiably big ambitions of small people from the periphery of life and events, who, due to the sudden circumstances in which they found themselves, forget who they are and where they come from. The film, among other things, explores human weaknesses.

Three men hike along the narrow paths on steep slopes above the coastline. The camera follows their steps and without words or music, the film asks about the purpose of their walk. A man's paces are counted by the tower clockwork. In the Watchman episode, the second man descends to the coast to night-watch a bankrupt factory. In Smoke, the third man sets fire to the last inhabited house in a mountain village.

A small boy Radenko lives with his alcoholic father, a retired bricklayer, in a modest shack in the outskirts of Podgorica (then Titograd). To support himself and escape from everyday reality, Radenko finds work at a local tavern where he starts singing folk hits, and the guests soon embrace the talented little kid who in turn starts making proper cash for himself and his manager Radovan. But the boy's shady behavior starts to emerge which prompts Radovan to call off his singing arrangement, while father's deteriorating addiction takes the toll in health as well. The boy finds himself left on his own and receives a visit from a social worker, who informs Radenko he's about to be sent to a juvenile hall. The lead role was played by a real-life juvenile offender Radenko Karac, who basically delivered his own life in this TV film.

Everything happens from the perspective of a young girl who, by sheer circumstances and against her own will, finds herself to be a part of social milieu during local elections.
