A documentary about the rival gangs Mara 18 and Mara Salvatrucha, originating in Los Angeles but terrorizing El Salvador. It explores their origins as possible founding myths of organized crime in a globalized world.

Pep Munné is an aging plastic surgeon who falls for a young female assistant (Mariana Anghileri) while attending a medical conference. Soon he begins inventing new reasons to spend more time with her. His wife Cristina (María Barranco) begins meeting with a psychiatrist (Jean Pierre Noher) in order to figure out what is going on in her marriage.

In 1976, a coup d'etat by the Armed Forces replaced the argentine constitutional Government and policies of terror that trampled on human rights were implemented. In a few years, the hidden and silent violence of these policies spiraled and 30,000 citizens of different ages and social conditions were murdered. They were wrongly called the disappeared and, among them, there were young children or unborn young who were delivered in prisons of the military dictatorship and whose kidnappers abducted and registered as their own children. This movie tells the story of Estela Barnes Carlotto, a human rights activist in Argentina, chairwoman of the Association of Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo, who stopped being a housewife to get involved in public affairs after the kidnap of her daughter, Laura Estela Carlotto in 1977. The film is about the way her life was transformed.

When the lights of the city go out, from the outskirts of Buenos Aries, a train arrives in which men, women and children who are excluded from the system travel, who earn their living by collecting what others throw away. The cardboard workers, as they are called, must fight day by day against indifference and loneliness. The documentary is introduced in the internal conflict that occurs in them who, despite the social situations they go through, seek the dignity that identifies them as men.

In 1985, 120 young Argentinians traveled to the Nicaraguan jungle to pick coffee in support of the Sandinista Revolution. Thirty years later, four of them decided to retrace their steps, searching for the traces left by their time in this country.
