Being a stranger doesn’t necessarily mean to be coming from the farthest away. Karl and his mother are about to learn this when they move from the west coast of Denmark to the ethnically and religiously mixed area of Nørrebro in Copenhagen. Sawsan, a Danish-Turkish girl in Karl’s new class, takes him under her wings and tries to integrate him into the big city, with all its slang and hipness. Sawsan is far more experienced and blunt than most – especially compared to Karl, this young Danish boy from the provinces. Sawsan’s big dream comes true when one of her songs is chosen for the Danish version of the Eurovision Song Contest for kids. Sawsan’s father of course says no, but Karl has a plan.

Henrik is young and in love and moves with his girlfriend Anne into a commune in the countryside. It is the dawn of the 70's, a time to challenge authority and experiment with relationships. Father has a very lively gab and is always ready to tell a story from her exciting life - often from the time he was on the big Argentine pampas.

But Karius' daughter, who is in love with Niels, burns with jealousy and persuades her father to take advantage of Niels' difficult financial situation and take over the farm. Things look bleak for Niels, who has been cornered by the wealthy landowner. But one day while plowing, he sees something glinting in the soil...

In this entertaining drama, "Carefree Giovanni" (Sergio Castellitto) is the beleaguered last heir to a dukedom closely associated with the great artist Leonardo da Vinci. As the curtain opens, one of Giovanni's ancestors drops dead when he hears that Leonardo has died. Cut to the present, and the last duke in this line, Giovanni, is miserable in a home shared by two older women who browbeat and badger him without mercy. Giovanni's one solace is to go up on the rooftop and gaze out at the world around him as he daydreams. He has a special passion for the lovely Claire (Eleonora Girogi) who lives next door. To show his sincerity, he zooms off paper airplanes in her direction. However, these missiles are made from actual letters written by the great Leonardo himself. Could this man be last link in the lineage that started 400 years earlier?

A romantic comedy about Ingrid, the innkeeper's daughter, and Karsten, the landowner, who are in love. Ingrid's father is strongly opposed to the relationship because of an event that took place 40 years ago – and the estate's financial problems don't exactly help matters. Then three very different people arrive at the inn. The poet Ole, the Supreme Court lawyer Aagesen, and the record producer Blanquet. Niaqornat in North West Greenland has a population of 59. If the population falls below 50, the village will lose its Danish subsidies and risks being relocated to the nearest town. While the rest of the community pull together to try and re-open the fish-factory, Lars -- the only teenager in town -- plans his escape.

Father and his family comes to visit onkel Anders' twin brother, Sofus, who comes all the way from Australia with a cow in tow. Unfortunately, Sofus equally surly and grumpy, as Anders is good and kind. Sofus takes his cow with Herefords to win milking competition. But when the cow refuses to give milk may Lille Per, Mie, Ole and Seas learn Sofus that words are leading the way to be good to others.
