Hugo is 18 years old, works in a garage in a provincial town, plays pool with his mates and dates teenage Betina. Hugo wants something else, but he doesn't know what - and it's hard for him to pull himself together. Until he meets student nurse Ester, who is in her 20s.

A musical romantic tragedy about a famous composer who moves back to his small hometown after having had heart troubles. His search for a simple everyday life leads him into teaching the local church choir, which is not easily accepted by the town yet the choir builds a great love for their teacher.

Henrik is young and in love and moves with his girlfriend Anne into a commune in the countryside. It is the dawn of the 70's, a time to challenge authority and experiment with relationships. Henrik is challenged too: His role as a man is exhibited and discussed, he has to learn how to sew, to sleep in the group bedroom, to share his inheritance with the commune and his beloved Anne with a lesbian.

Taking place on a small villa road: The two neighbors Gormsen and Sandelund have been at a dispute for years and this evolves into an all out war. Sandelund is a wholesale dealer in meet, a capitalist and has one of this modem houses with a flat roof. Gormsen is a dentist, and a communist, he has a new wife that are younger then his son, and lives in one of these old-fashioned half-timbered houses. A third factor is the merchant Krause. To begin with he is a small time grocer and progresses into the end, a big time businessman. He is a deeply religious man, a good Christian, and member of the parochial church council. There children, (teenagers) find their conflict silly and stupid.

Martin deserts from the barracks with one of the army's pistols. He wants to go home to his girlfriend Sussie, who, however, has found someone else while he has been away. Martin is a lively and energetic guy, but he's rootless and provocative, and can't seem to settle down anywhere. He is on the run from the military and, more or less unconsciously, in the process of destroying himself. He doesn't really know what to do with the revolver, but he doesn't want to get rid of it, and only when he is hit by a shot from it does he realize what he has messed up.

When a young couple invite a friend to share in their adventures, the friend seduces the woman. The songs sometimes are relevant to the plot but are often just thrown in for filler. Now the Uglegaards brothers are just waiting for the right time to take over Mosegaarden. But when Thorup's son, Henrik, unexpectedly shows up at Mosegaarden, the three brothers' sinister plans are thrown into disarray.

A romantic comedy about Ingrid, the innkeeper's daughter, and Karsten, the landowner, who are in love. Giovanni's one solace is to go up on the rooftop and gaze out at the world around him as he daydreams. He has a special passion for the lovely Claire (Eleonora Girogi) who lives next door. To show his sincerity, he zooms off paper airplanes in her direction. However, these missiles are made from actual letters written by the great Leonardo himself. Could this man be last link in the lineage that started 400 years earlier?
