This film could easily be a true story taken from contemporary Denmark. It is a typical Tuesday morning: stormy weather, slush, and bitter cold. Two young women are cycling to work. They make an unpleasant discovery: they find a dead man on a bench in the park.

Seeking revenge against the rival clan responsible for the killing of his father, Hagbard calms down long enough to establish a truce. During a peaceful interlude, he falls in love with Signe, the daughter of the king of the rival clan. However, Hildegisl, who desires Signe's hand in marriage, disovers the young lover's plans to wed and sets out to bring about the end of Hagbard.

Sonja, 16, is a porn model, and her middle aged lover is obsessed with her. Sonja knows how to benefit from this, and as he spies on her, he finds out that there's more to her than he would expect.

It is the adult Gustav Adolf, who tells the story of the momentous day when he as a little boy with his father and mother and the whole staircase, went to the beach to enjoy the pleasures of bathing. We are in 1930s working-class neighborhood in Copenhagen. In a backyard apartment, we meet the little working-up of small Gustav Adolf (Benjamin Rothenborg Vibe) who has great respect for his father, Axel (Erik Clausen). Father has a very lively gab and is always ready to tell a story from her exciting life - often from the time he was on the big Argentine pampas.

A fresh faced country boy comes to Copenhagen looking for a job and falls in with a group of hoodlums who use him as bait to lure older gay men they can rob and blackmail.

While out and about tending to his herd, young shepherd Larus meets a mysterious little girl named Tinke. Quickly realizing that the girl is alone, Larus brings Tinke some food and slowly builds a friendship with her. Tinke, whose parents died within the past year, has managed to survive by her own devices in the wild and has hence become quite feral. Larus convinces Tinke to come to his home so that his parents can take care of her

An adventurous Danish sailor falls in love with the beautiful French singer Christine in this romantic adventure. Chased by soldiers, he takes cover under beds and petticoats in order to escape capture. Several dance scenes highlight this musical comedy that uses a limited amount of sight gags.

During the filming of a movie in Køge, Lise accidentally knocks down the director, Dan Burling. When the film crew leaves Køge, Dan invites Lise to come to the city. When Lise shows up in Copenhagen, she thinks she has been offered a role in a movie, while Dan was hoping to find a new housekeeper. Lise becomes Dan's housekeeper, and soon her love for him grows. He, on the other hand, only has eyes for himself. While completing his film dream, Dan saves script girl Irma from burning to death in the editing room. Meanwhile, Lise has decided to leave Copenhagen.

Due to his gambling addiction, farmer Hans Sværke has brought his farm to the brink of bankruptcy, thereby opening up the opportunity for the wealthy landowner Karius to achieve his goal of taking over the farm. However, parish bailiff Mikkelsen vouches for Sværke and saves him for the time being, and Sværke then leases the farm. Sværke dies, and his talented son Niels takes over the lease. He and the farmer's daughter, Grethe, are happy together, and Niels manages to get her hired at the farm. But Karius' daughter, who is in love with Niels, burns with jealousy and persuades her father to take advantage of Niels' difficult financial situation and take over the farm. Things look bleak for Niels, who has been cornered by the wealthy landowner. But one day while plowing, he sees something glinting in the soil...

The employees at Simonsens Bijouterifabrik are not only experts in Christmas parties. They also know a thing or two about company outings. The picnic baskets are overflowing, and the alcoholic beverages have certainly not been forgotten as the staff sets off for Bakken in a rented bus. Beer and spirits are consumed in abundance. As the booze flows, inhibitions are cast aside. In the increasingly boisterous atmosphere, one employee after another passes out. And the bus? Well, it can be hard to find in the booze haze! The fun never ends, and neither does the laughter.

A romantic comedy set in the world of gambling, debt collecting and professional boxing. Laura is cheating, scamming, and lying and eventually life catches up with her. Claus is trying to regain his self respect and start anew. Together, they make an awkward but very charming couple on the verge of love. It is a story about trust, friendship, new beginnings, getting a second chance and doing the right thing.

A young woman of good family is driven into one of thieves and prostitutes and ends in suicide.

Julia works as a cashier at a piano factory in Stockholm. She and a couple friend go on a ski vacation to northern Sweden, while her boss at the piano factory notices there a money missing in cash register. He suspects Julia who have to prove her innocence.

The entire population of Bomø has gathered for the big day. Finally, after 56 years, the bridge connecting Bomø to the mainland has been completed. With the parish council chairman at the helm and the minister cutting the ribbon to make it official, everything should be in perfect order. However, the county governor is absent, as he has a financial dispute with the ferrymen, brothers Søren and Peter Severinsen.

Henrik is young and in love and moves with his girlfriend Anne into a commune in the countryside. It is the dawn of the 70's, a time to challenge authority and experiment with relationships. Henrik is challenged too: His role as a man is exhibited and discussed, he has to learn how to sew, to sleep in the group bedroom, to share his inheritance with the commune and his beloved Anne with a lesbian.

After three long years, the young legal secretary Bodil is reunited with his former girlfriend Carsten. Their love affair flares up again, but unfortunately Bodil has meanwhile come a little too close to his boss' son, the skirt hunter Hugo. And he has no intention of making Bodil happy.

"The Birdcatcher's Son" - According to Faroese law, the birdwatcher Esmar will lose his lease within one year, thus forced to leave both his house and his land unless he makes sure he and his wife Johanna have a son. Because Johanna has just given birth to date, they decide what they think is their last and best chance; to jointly find another man who can make Johanna with children.

Hugo is 18 years old, works in a garage in a provincial town, plays pool with his mates and dates teenage Betina. Hugo wants something else, but he doesn't know what - and it's hard for him to pull himself together. Until he meets student nurse Ester, who is in her 20s.

Taking place on a small villa road: The two neighbors Gormsen and Sandelund have been at a dispute for years and this evolves into an all out war. Sandelund is a wholesale dealer in meet, a capitalist and has one of this modem houses with a flat roof. Gormsen is a dentist, and a communist, he has a new wife that are younger then his son, and lives in one of these old-fashioned half-timbered houses. A third factor is the merchant Krause. To begin with he is a small time grocer and progresses into the end, a big time businessman. He is a deeply religious man, a good Christian, and member of the parochial church council. There children, (teenagers) find their conflict silly and stupid.
