It's a Halloween extravaganza when the monsters from Sesame Street get invited to a Tricks & Treats party. But when Mumford the Magician has some trouble with his magic wand, Elmo and friends get sidetracked on a wonderful hayride. Share in the surprises as they learn to carve pumpkins, make scarecrows, and discover that monsters don't really have to be scary! Features special guest star Caroline Rhea as Gilda the Great!

The fun begins when Baby Bear goes to hear the Boston Pops Orchestra play the musical story of Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf." He imagines Elmo, Big Bird, Oscar and the rest of his Sesame Street friends as characters who help bring the story to life.

Silliness and surprise twists abound in the half-hour special, in which Elmo teams up with Abby Cadabby via video chat for a virtual scavenger hunt. Aided by Sesame Street friends Big Bird, Grover, Rosita, Oscar the Grouch, Bert and Ernie, Elmo's dad Louie, and tiger Mr. Stripey, the duo invites children to join in the search for all seven items on their list...along the way, "Monster Foodies" Cookie Monster and Gonger whip up a tasty summer dessert, Amy Sedaris shares an easy craft the whole family can make, and Gabrielle Union leads Elmo and Abby in a sweet sing-along.

Join Elmo as he reminisces about his potty training journey and guides viewers as they embark on theirs. Elmo and his Sesame friends give helpful, confidence-building tips and encourage kids to listen to their bodies. Dance, sing and laugh along as kids learn healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
