Rival groups in a skiing school do battle on and off the piste. One gang are rich and serious, the other group are party animals.

After inexplicably surviving a plane crash, TV station worker Denise tries to get on with her life. She soon learns that she was actually supposed to die in the crash. Death refuses to be cheated and starts sending its minions, people that have recently died, to collect her.

One of Bob Hunt's neighbours' electricity is cut off because she cannot pay the bill. She is assisted by contributions, and the bill is paid entirely in pennies, though the clerk is belatedly told that payment is not accepted in such a large quantity of coins. He returns home and his mother is not very happy to see him as she wants to collect his life insurance policy. Soon, things get out of hand as mom is trying to make sure nobody knows that Roy has "come back" and Blade is trying to let everybody know that he has "come back".
