Single father and overprotective of a teenager, Geraldo loses the ability to feel when an iron beam passes through his skull, in a work accident. Fearing that he would lose his affection for his daughter, he sets off on a motorcycle trip from São Paulo to Rio Grande do Sul, with the intention of leaving the girl in the care of his ex-wife. Along the way, Geraldo reveals himself to be a violent man as a result of the accident.
