A captivating dive into the brief yet bloody chronicles of the pirates of the Indian Ocean (1685–1730). This film brings to life the thrilling and tragic saga of "La Buse"—a French pirate from Calais with a dark, magnetic presence—as well as the enduring legend of his treasure, a fabulous hoard he is said to have once hidden on an island. Experts in maritime history and piracy, along with writers and local figures, weave a gripping narrative around these bloody chronicles.

The confrontation between a hypochondriac, stressed-out showbiz star and a peaceful beekeeper. Under a bus shelter in the middle of a country road, their encounter promises to be sharp.

Always egocentric and in search of good words, always an assumed homosexual, but this time in couple with a companion whom he loves to martyr, it is now his desire to have a child that will be the crux of the story. He wants a son and he has promised him to two women: Sylvie, his best friend, and Isabelle, the promising actress in his next play! A real battle of "females" will then oppose the two young women, each of a very assertive nature... Five characters who tear each other apart for our greatest pleasure.

Shipwrecked by a storm on Slave Island, the survivors are forced, according to the law of this Republic, to exchange their status: from master, Iphicrates becomes the slave of his slave Arlequin, and Euphrosin, from mistress, becomes the slave of her slave Cléanthis. But this exchange merely replaces oppression based on custom and tradition with oppression based on resentment and revenge. Only a transformation of hearts can make inequality of rank acceptable and just by making everyone recognize the equality of souls. This transformation is the work of Arlequin, who forgives his master, returns his power to him, and whose generosity is contagious.
