Two students from the Czech Film Academy commission a leading advertising agency to organize a huge campaign for the opening of a new supermarket named Czech Dream. The supermarket however does not exist and is not meant to. The advertising campaign includes radio and television ads, posters, flyers with photos of fake Czech Dream products, a promotional song, an internet site, and ads in newspapers and magazines. Will people believe in it and show up for the grand opening?

Activism, direct observation, and situational documentary inconspicuously linger about the constantly delayed construction of the D8 motorway. Local residents, a Brno-based activist and the construction chief shatter the clichés of contemporary documentary film - among other things in who we should root for. The local mixes with the global just like economics and the environment.

The director also managed to establish a film relationship with Berdych himself and former members of his gang. What motivates a policewoman to stand up to the mafia and what motivates a young documentary filmmaker to contact the mafia and make a film about it?

Adam Oĺha's father, a well-known Slovak educator and filmmaker, decided to leave his wife and six children and start anew after years of living together. Adam takes his place and starts recording the family's peripeteia. As the eldest of the siblings and the last man in the family, he examines his father's old picture records, compares them with the present and tries to find out what led to this radical change.

Human action is often influenced by the desire for knowledge. This desire is in itself a positive impulse and could be said to be the basis of all progress. Let's move this statement to the ground of scientific research at CERN, and see if it applies here - and then test the common experience that human stupidity permeates every social stratum and, in the case of the elites, is a potential threat.

Tůma's film is a sovereign cinematographic space, which, broken up into many chapters, takes an unconventional look at contemporary Czech society. The opening political grotesque on the election of the President is drowned out by the ecstatic ramblings of philosophising (and chattering) fragments turning on the sought-out axis of life and the world, and especially the inward-looking images full of colourful objectivity and charming humour that is elevated to the level of pure poetry.
