It is 1940. The first transport of prisoners arrives at the newly created concentration camp Auschwitz. One of them is Tadeusz “Teddy” Pietrzykowski, pre-war boxing champion of Warsaw. The camp officers force him to fight in the ring for his and other prisoners’ lives. However, his every win strengthens the hope that Nazis are not invincible. Auschwitz officers notice the growing resistance. The confrontation with the authorities of the camp becomes inevitable.

Based on true events. In 1980s Poland, Jerzy Górski is a young man who finds the determination to struggle against his drug addiction through athletic training, with the aim of competing in the US Ironman Triathlon.

The protagonist of this documentary is Jerzy Górski, a triathlete with a history whose motto is “I have always wanted to be the best, no matter what I do”. His story, which was already the subject of the feature film by Łukasz Palkowski „The Fastest”, acquires the virtue of a personal testimony of a sportsman and former drug addict. In Górski’s turbulent life, combating addiction and the ambition of achieving increasingly better sports results are two sides of the same coin – the ability to overcome your body barriers in order to get to the top.

Lucia is an 11-year-old girl, awake and curious about life. A rebel mortified by the bourgeois family environment of Southern Italy where she lives. The father is violent and the mother remains powerless in the face of her husband's anger. After yet another violence, Lucia gives a cry of alarm: on the day of her First Communion, she wears the white dress not to go to church, but on a rock. And throw yourself into the sea.
