Samuel Emerson and Jada Mudita are two strangers who unexpectedly find themselves drawn to one another after connecting through text messages. What begins as a casual conversation quickly develops into a playful and flirtatious exchange, with both of them becoming increasingly curious about the person on the other side of the screen. Through late-night conversations, teasing messages, and moments of unexpected honesty, a connection begins to form. For Samuel and Jada, communicating through a phone feels easy. Behind a screen, they can choose their words, hide their insecurities, and present the versions of themselves they want the other person to see. But when the two finally decide to meet in person, the confidence and chemistry they felt through their messages doesn't translate as naturally as they expected.

Four friends, Ty, Adam, Ibrahim, and Kyrie, are drinking at Ty's place and invite four women, Isabella, Faye, Shantelle, and Dani and enjoy themselves. Ibrahim feels something is amiss, but his friends disregard his fears to enjoy their time. Meanwhile, three men in masks, Pedro, Andre, and Hakeem, are raiding a house to get a bag of money stored there. As night advances, Ibrahim hears men in his house upstairs making a noise and discovers that they are with the women. He reports to his friends, but his fears are again put aside as foolish.
